VDSL •
from thestar today...VDSL Network Sdn Bhd (VDSL) has teamed up with a US-based technology partner Cyjaya to provide very high-speed broadband access in the country and is working on a rollout plan for the service in the Klang Valley next year. VDSL, or very high bit rate digital subscriber line, provides an enormous amount of bandwidth, with speeds up to about 54 megabits per second (Mbps). gene: walaneh.. that will be 54 times faster then streamyx !!!! In Malaysia, the main complaint is that there is very strong demand for broadband but supply is lagging. Another grouse is the transmission speed it is often based on “best effort'' and unsatisfactory. gene:wah.. they r talking about streamyx/tmnet, aren't they ? muahahha.. "best effort", i start to used the word in the office as well.. sad.. :P Posted by genethegeek // 0 comments
