from thestar today... VDSL Network Sdn Bhd (VDSL) has teamed up with a US-based technology partner Cyjaya to provide very high-speed broadband access in the country and is working on a rollout plan for the service in the Klang Valley next year. VDSL, or very high bit rate digital subscriber line, provides an enormous amount of bandwidth, with speeds up to about 54 megabits per second (Mbps).
gene: walaneh.. that will be 54 times faster then streamyx !!!!
In Malaysia, the main complaint is that there is very strong demand for broadband but supply is lagging. Another grouse is the transmission speed it is often based on “best effort'' and unsatisfactory. gene:wah.. they r talking about streamyx/tmnet, aren't they ? muahahha.. "best effort", i start to used the word in the office as well.. sad.. :P

Music Craze Concert ! •
Just got back from "Music Craze Concert". a concert brought in by Melilea, some direct sales company. reach about 7pm to get a good spot at the standing ground on the field. haha.. but sad case is we waiting for at least 1 & 1/2 hours for the concert to begin. b4 this was play all their video clips of Melile for sickening 1 & 1/2 hour. repeat repeat repeat & repeat. sad.
*review in order of appearance*
LiShenJie Wow.. was a stunning opening by this dude. i love him so much.. ahahah.a.. not the gay type but the music. i was so into all this song that he sing. and tell u, his live singing skill is superd. macam playing from CD ! but i know is live performance.. no lip sing for sure. 5 stars performance by him. really enjoy to listen to this live performance. and he is the very man kind of sing as in appereance, clothing , style.. can really see his maturity. is good choice for him to quite his tennis career and chose to sing !
ChaiChunJia 2nd performer of the nite. sad to say lots of ppl dont really know who she is and her song. only until she sing the last song. 1 thing worth mentioning she makes the whole stadium so lively. she requested everyone to on their mobile phone and wave in the sky. it creates a really really nice sorrunding with the lights coming out from the mobile while she was singing the last song. & i can see lots of ppl using samsung phone coz the likes coming out are mostly the flash lights more the phone. hahahaha...
Ocean wah.. finally get to see his face and he has been hiding here and there. good vocal no doubt. he is the only artiste coming out form the crowds (vip). the rest of came out behind the stage. i always wonder y some jb friends been telling me that i look like him. until just now, i realise.. damm... even annie & beehsia was saying in mandarin "eh.. hen3 xiang4 leh." mahahahaha.. damm sohai.
ZhanDongLiang lots of supporters i would say. i can see he is gradually growing from a new-comer-fresh-from-competition-mode to a mature singer. good for him. and i realise he go lots fo hits single now. progress smoothly most prob. due to his cute and baby girlish looking face. lucky bastard.
Jolin The artiste everyone been waiting for the whole nite. everyone was enjoying with her hot dance & sweet voice. walaneh. she's really pretty. all of them sang 5 tracks except jolin wonder 1. at least she sang 1 of my favourite track 'Sky'. she might be expecting ppl to shout for 'encore' to sing the 5th song, but ended all chao liao.. muahahaha,.,. sohai
Overall not bad after all. love it coz u gets to enjoy all the good singer at once. cons, the sing so fast like fcking rush lidat especialy jolin.. mahai... the only singer that talk alot with the crowds is ZhangDongliang & LeeShenJie, but Lee keep asking stupid question... 'ni men hao mah" dunno repeat how many times.. haha.. nothing to say lah him..

Yet another news from the lock-up •
A 71-second video clip shown to two government ministers and several members of Parliament left them speechless and stunned. The clip shows a naked woman in a locker room doing ear-squats in front of a woman in police uniform.
Teresa Kok : "What I want to ask is whether it is a standard practice for the police to make detainees strip naked and to do ear squats?"
date:19/11/2005 venue: Hilton, KL comments: one of the best hotel (in terms of room quality). event, everyone had lots of fun. the following monday, all we get are the good comments and compliments. hahaha.. guess my monkey show on the stage really works eh ! muahahaha.. it was a big suprise that most of them dress-up as movie characters. we got Neo frm Matrix, Harry Potter, gabriel from Constantine, the 'i-know-wat-u-did-last-summer' dude, step sister, princess from ming dynasty, BATMAN, GOkan, indiana jones, lilian too, Jedi... alot morelah.. i had lots of fun too. did i duet with Amy during the performance. opening was good shit, damm 7 romantic but... hmm..hahahahaha.. duwannaa say lah... LoL. about the room, memang best. i like it. the 1 i am sharing with bryan cost about RM450. is fantastic ! bath tube is super nice. water pressure good, mattress good, plasma tv, aroma therapy, small tv on the mirror, KL view window. everything so perfect and comfy.. wish thats my room.

thats wat i heard from the MYFM today, which is very true and very meaninfuly. something that everyone of us know but sometimes we accidently neglect the people around us. another word, we take it for granted. Deeparaya break •
Last sunday, i got back form JB for a 4 days holidays. most memorable things i did ? i celebrate my mum's 62nd birthday at a Chinese Restaurant and also cut cutting session @ home. alongside with my sis and nieces. glad that i can make it this year coz rarely gets to celebrate bday with her since i started study/working in KL. i bet she is happy too. Happy Birthday mummy ! Love ya !
guess wat i get on Sunday when i reached on last sunday ? Food Poisoningg. damm cool yeah ! lausai & vommit.. walaneh.. thats really bad ! :( went to see doctor on monday nite. u know, i still went to work on Monday.. (coz mine is daily rate) *sigh*. at least i feel better now.
btw, hiakz hiakz... finally get to know Giselle, the sexy bikini girl on friendster. met her @ a function in JB ! took lots of pictures. but then her bf is are...boo booo.. watever.. doesn't matter. just friends mah.
planning for a trip in december with some jb friends. hopefully gonna workout this time!

my new indulgence •
My new indulgence... hahaha.. nothing new. just that i m slow in joining the crowds
3-Leg Mahjong I started off playing with Cliff & Jan, my ex colleagues. They are basically my sifoo. taught me how to calculate 'fan' and stuff. use to play with them on weekends and then stop. Now, it starts again, haha.. just played with Kien-Mun & Bryan and his apartment last nite. didnt head to anywhere and end up playing mahjong with them while sipping my favourite chivas coke.. ohh.. best nyer. it was a 6 hours mahjong marathon. had so much fun. realise the game is not about winning money, its more on how u plan and strategy used throughout the game. keke... 'si' Mark using his 'beginner's luck' spell to sapu all of us. after supper we continue the game with Mark left with jessie. and it was my turn to conquer the game ! mahahahahhaha... cant exactly rmb how many rounds i eat 'pao pang'... hahahaha.. its Awesome !
Defense of The Ancient (DOTA) Thanks to CK, i started playing DOTA. hahaha.. and its a very addictive game i would like. its actually an online version of WarCraft II, Frozen Thronze, DOTA ! i also dunno how to explaine lah. all u have to do is buy the correct weapon, cast the correct magic and wack wack wack until the base koyak. and officially my sifoo is Alex who teaches me lot of staff related with the games. beginners, i would recommend to visit http://www.dota-allstars.com/ . Thanks Alex for being so patient !

Congrates to Nicol Again ! •
Nicol David emerge as the champion again ! This time is the champion for "The Carol Weymuller Squash Tournament 2005", The Heights Casino, Brooklyn, NY
Nicol had shown throughout the week that when she absolutely needed to she could find what was necessary and at 1-3 she did more than that, she raised the pace significantly and very impressively at this late stage of the event, to go straight through in one hand 9-3, for her second straight tournament win - repeating her British Open triumph of two weeks ago - and her seventh major title of the year.
