I am not sitting at Starbucks Sunway Pyramid. I am not suppose to be here. but i need to wait for my spec to be ready. i get myself a tint lense for my trip tomorrow. yeah, a bit last minute but wat to do. wannabe cool mah..nah, just because the Sun could be bigger over there at phuket. another 1/2 hour to go, so i decided to sit down here at Starbucks to blog while waiting for my specs to be ready.
i was suppose to blog about my trip to Cameroon but then KC still havent pass me those quality pics yet. so lets skip Cameron. will update again lah.
It was the time of the year again for our departmental dinner. what makes it so special this year is, it was a join effort between GFAS (my dept), HR-IT(based in Shell House), SCI & ITSM teams. It's a much more formal dinner compare to the crazy dinner we had last nite. Location wise, last year still roxx coz it was KL Hilton. nway, we had it at KLCC Convention Center & got a free stay over at Traders Hotel.
KLCC Convention Center
well known place for convention, KL Fashion Week happen to be the same weekend with our dinner as well. popular spot for PC Fair. having Aquaria KLCC. erm.. roughly that's all about it. nothing much over there. it more suitable for convention rather than banquet or dinner thingy.
The Hotel
nice. clean. not spacious. new. SAmsung LCD tv. good view, facing twin tower. sorry.. i dont have time to try the gym facilities. but i did chill at the pool side bar, "Sky Bar". very much the Luna Bar concept with proper sittings. not a bad place to chill. but dont fall into the pool pls !
The Dinner
It was so call a grand masquerade dinner. everyone needs to wear a mask for a dinner.and wat ugly mask did i get for myself? hahaha.. later u check the pics and tell me k. overall, i had fun entertained by the performance on stage both internal (our own staff dancing & singin) and also profesional dancers :). End of the nite, i still got no luck with the grand draw of LCD tv. damm... all this year i got no luck with all the grand prize. its been awhile man ! i only settle with RM100 Shell Petrol Voucher. better then nothing lah. i did cam whore around. here are some selected ones. We went straight to SkyBar after the dinner.
