OLIVIA - A Girl Meets Bossa Nova
Have you listen to her music before?

    A short descs about her

Home grown talent from Singapore, Olivia Ong's third album, who is currently based in Tokyo, has her crooning, in bossa nova, Sade and Antonio Carlos Jobim's cover versions. Her clear voice and good sense of the groove has her jazzing in style. It is an improvement to the previous pop numbers in her sopohomore offering - Precious Stones. Make it Mutual and Fade Away sounds really better in bossa nova or perhaps it is just my preference. It is a commendable effort from Olivia Ong as she takes on Bossa Nova with girlish delight. Favourites in the album include a lovely girlish redition of Seiko Matsuda's Sweet Memories. Also good to listen are L-O-V-E and Wave.

    01.So Nice
    02.Kiss Of Life
    03.Wave
    04.L-O-V-E
    05.How Insensitive
    06.One Note Samba
    07.Make It Mutual
    08.Driving
    09.Fade Away
    10.I'll Move On
    11.Kiss Me
    12.Sweet Memories
So of my favourites in bold.

Boss Nova lovers, pls include Olivia on you playlist or CD shopping list. trust me, her makes clear & excellent vocal, her groove witht he music, everything penny worth. A little bit different from Lisa Ono, Olivia is a more "girly" version of bossa nova. Kudos to the 19th years old talent from SG. I will definitely be there is she is performing in KL :) It's good for easy listening & highly recommended by me.

p/s: thanks sis for introducing such a great artiste to me :)
